A book cover idea for Jane Eyre.

This image was commissioned by Prima Magazine, for an article called ‘How healthy is your family tree?’.  The article discusses 6 illnesses that run in families, their symptoms, treatments and genetic links.  I was also asked to illustrate a symbol for each illness, to go alongside their descriptions.  

I really enjoyed working on this, I am always happy to work with vintage photographs, in this case the pictures were kindly lent to me by my grandparents.  So a big thank you to them!
